The #23 ranked LACROSSE Buffs (6-3 overall; 1-1 in the Pac 12) are back home as they continue conference play facing off against the San Diego State Aztecs (1-10, 0-2).
(This will be the one and only time CU and SDSU will face off against each other as fellow Pac 12 members (they were conference-mates for a few years when both were in the MPSF), but it has already been announced (and noted in Allbuffs) that the match-up will continue as SDSU is joining the Big 12 next year for lacrosse.)
The game is slotted to be viewable on the Pac 12 Mountain channel. (Further info and links for media options available near the bottom of this thread.)
Note - I just noticed that the NCAA has released RPI for the 1st time (at least that I noticed) this season. In the listing (as of 3/26, https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/lacrosse-women/d1/ncaa-womens-lacrosse-rpi), CU is at #28, while SDSU is #99. (There are a LOT less schools who compete in women's lacrosse. Per the RPI listing, there are 127. Per https://www.ncaa.com/championships/lacrosse-women/d1/road-to-the-championship, the sport's NCAA Tournament also continues to be much smaller, with only 29 teams (15 conference auto-qualifiers and 14 at-large) selected for and competing in post-season play.)
Go Buffs!!!
(Preview not available as I type this.)
