After opening the season with a convincing victory over South Dakota, the Buffs next faceoff against Kansas State, who lost to Drake 70-80 in their season opener.

Note - Per https://www.kstatesports.com/sports/mens-basketball/opponent-history/colorado/87 , the Buffs are 47-95 lifetime against KSU (The CU Information Guide says it's 47-97), but CU won the last 3, all in their last (2010/2011) Big 12 season. (Of course, that season can still piss me off NCAA selection-wise when I think about it as, in spite of the 3-0 record against the Wildcats, the Buffs didn't get selected at all, while KSU was given a #5 seed.)

Go Buffs!!!

DW looked much smoother than last year; 4-6 shooting w/ 7 RBs in 15 minutes. If he can get the fouling under control, he could be a force. I don't recall fouls being a particular problem in the past

If Walton rebounds, plays solid positional defense without giving up deep posts & makes good decisions from the high post vs zone then I'll be super happy. Anything he'd give beyond that would be gravy.

Nice to see all of those newcomers. At least they will get some playing time if other Buff players have to sit out due to COVID-19.
