Games thread- Men's Bball scheduled to host #15/16 USC (Thurs., 1/20/21, 5:30 PM MT, Pac 12 Network) & #9 UCLA (Sat., 7:00 PM, Pac 12 Network)

Watching Lawson play is painful. He has no confidence left. He can't even rebound anymore. I'll be the first admit that I have no idea how to develop college basketball players, but I hope you guys are right about him. I also hope growing pains this season don't completely crush his confidence.
Lovering has no confidence for a good reason - he can’t play at this level.

I understand a bit of the criticism of Lovering, he lacks confidence and needs the game to slow down for him, which has not happened yet. He is over matched every game at this point in his career and it is more visible because of the hype and potential he walked on campus with. However, this experience is going to pay off for him next year and the team needs minutes from a big. He plays well in practice, this is simply a matter of needing to raise his game and speed to this level - it will happen.

I can see him averaging close to 10 boards next year and by his junior year a double double with 3-4 blocks a game. I don't think he will be a 20/10 guy at CU but he will produce as he grows.
