Guess the Attendance: Arizona State

A combination of boredom and sadness about the Rockies led to some compulsive behavior.
I counted the dots.
As of now, there are 1,312 tickets remaining.

332 in the 100 level
481 in the 200 level
181 in the east club level
318 in the Flatirons Club

Some thoughts:
The 200 level seats are all in sections 218 and 220, which are priced higher than equivalent sections because they are further north and have better mountain views. CU has placed a premium on the mountain views for years and it usually results in unsold seats at that end of the stadium. Same goes for the club level. A majority of the unsold seats are in the sections furthest north.

The unsold Flatirons Club seats are, unsurprisingly, in the 300 and 400 levels. 200 level is almost gone there.

This game won't actually sell out unless they do some stubhub voodoo but I'm curious if the number ends up being over 50,000 anyway (remember that the true sellout against Utah was over 52K).

52,681 is the number. Highest attendance of the MacIntyre era and highest since the 2010 Georgia game.

However, despite being 380 more than the 2016 Utah game, this was apparently about 500 short of a sellout and the higher number is because of the higher number of student sports passes compared to two years ago. Also, the amount of butts in the seats was definitely lower than that Utah game.

BUT STILL! Great to see the fanbase show up like that and also great that the weather held off.

The average of 33 guesses was 50,544.
It's become clear after this game that the post-2015 listed capacity of 50,183 is more of a suggestion than anything if they can get way over that number without selling out.
The winner, with the highest sincere guess, was @FlatironsBuff with 52,302.
