This is what he says when asked about the talent level of the Mac and how it compares to the MWC and Wac, etc.

I just chuckled at that quote. :lol: What a way to play football. I fear everyone. :rofl:
Also said it was hard to get in a rythm...no s***.
He also said it took longer to get plays in to the huddle because McKnight was out of the game?!?! WTF? Doesn't the QB read the signals? Is McKnight calling the play in the huddle too???

i seriously think he had a mental breakdown and turned into a malfunctioning, excuse-spewing robot after the csu game. he's gone into overdrive with the ridiculousness that has come out of his mouthHe is dancing on the landmine. His excuses are becoming pure comedy.

I pretty sure Hawk was refering to McKnight being out causing personnel issues meaning who was ready to replace him on the field and that making the plays take longer to get in. Ive seen them do both in the past send it in from the sideline and signal it in. That being said it should not be happening as much as it did. I dont give a f*ck how the play gets in, just line up, actually put some points on the board, and f*cking win some games. Last but not least, get DScott, Speedy, and Lockridge the fu*cking rock with a big emphasis on DScott and put Sumler at fb where he belongs.
Just curious, is anyone going to show up at 7:00 tonight at the Boulder Draft House to grill Hawk on his 850 KOA call-in show?
Why should anyone waste their time? No one here coaches college football. They just don't get it...
I didn't realize you had to coach collage fooball to ask a football question. Not that Hawk would tell anyone what they wanted to hear in the first place.

According to Hawk (and little Hawk), if you're not a coach you just don't understand what is going on.
Not according to me. See below.
Precisely.
I coached my sons Pee-Wee Football team 19 years ago, does that count?
If you call and want to ask a tough question you better fib to the call screener. Otherwise you will never get on the air.

I want someone to ask the question Slade posted that someone asked Blake at OU:
"Coach, how much are they paying you to coach this team and where do you think you will be coaching next year? I'll hang up and listen to your response."
:thumbsup::thumbsup::lol::lol:
If anyone should get past the call screener, I'm guessing in order to get a "straight" answer out of Hawkins on this show. One should consider asking questions that need only be answered by a yes, or a no.
In the press conference he was asked (rather timidly, it seemed) if DS was gonna get more carries and Hawk just gave a quick "Yup" answer and then looked around waiting for the next question, kind of like he was evading the question as much as he could. :huh:

My son was telling me that he thought Hawkins looked physically sick at the end of the game...trying to get through the crowd to Fairchild, then into the locker room...he said he looked pale and that it seemed he wanted to throw up.
