Notice how Coach Mac looks and acts like he expects his team to do what it did on the field. Those teams had a leader as a coach, leaders on the field, and an approach that anything less than excellence wasn't acceptable. No excuses, no little things, no feel good.

I am completely convinced that 90% of success in sports as it is in life is about attitude and effort. Hawks teams at Boise had these characteristics, for some reason since he has been in Boulder he has not been able to inspire these things on a consistent basis.

Mac on the other hand was the pinnacle of attitude and effort. That game against Nebraska was over before it even started because that group of guys was not going to let anything happen other than a win, the only question was going to be by how much.
