CSU Knob-Slobberer
This is year five of the DH regime.
I don't doubt that CU has the athletic talent to compete in the Pac-10 but they do not have the necessary mental toughness to compete in ANY league. If we were in the Sun Belt and played like that, we would be getting whipped too.
What DH clearly has failed as the head coach of the Buffs is getting those players prepared to play the kind of football that will lead the Buffs to more victories than losses. What is it going to take for the Buffs to play clean and smart football? Those are not very football smart players that DH has recruited although a good number of them have played on championship winning teams.
How can we turn this around for the Buffs? I hate the thought of having to change coaches but if it is necessary, let's do it. Five years of this dumb football is enough reason to do a coaching change. We have showed up for the games and gave the Buffs their support and I'm sure those 7,000 CU faithful have got to be sick to their stomachs because the majority of those are the west coast Buff fans that have waited for years to watch the Buffs in person.
The only positive I can take from this CU-Cal game is that we CAN compete in the Pac-10 but I'm afraid it will have to be with a different coaching staff.
GO BUFFS!
