I am worried about Cody's left eye

It's the only reason I can think of that he continually misses wide open receivers well down field on the left side. I think he most not have full control of the eye lid and can't open it, or maybe when he got hit last week it knocked his vision out on that side, but either way, we may need him to actually turn his head to the left to counter-act his inability to see out of that left eye.

I'm worried about his right arm.

I saw better throws at the pee wee flag football game early Saturday morning.

It's the coaching, it you're typical, one-read, half the field offense.

Not sure if Cody is unable or unwilling to go past one read.

I do know that he usually doesn't have the time to make it past one read.

He also doesn't or can't step up in the pocket and the roll him out to create passing lanes which limits him to half the field.

This has a big part in the locking onto certain receivers as he's been prone to do for the 3 years he's QB'd for us. He probably makes a lot more reads in practice because the pressure's not in his face. Not making any excuses, I just think that the nearly constant pressure on him in games has made him jumpy -- which is very clear from watching his footwork.

Pressure's a lot of it. I think it was Buffnik that did the analysis elsewhere on this board, but the sacks per game has gone up every year. The more he gets hit, the happier his feet get. The happier his feet get, the more he locks onto his first target. He also tries to roll out and often rolls himself into pressure when he could step up in the pocket or run. I think the clock in his head is set so short, that a lot of time, whether there's pressure or not, he goes to plan b very early because that's what he's used to doing.
