CU was the first school to pay a coach a million. This **** is getting ridiculous.
And probably the last P5 to pay a coach 2 million.CU was the first school to pay a coach a million.
Then I guess this is karma.CU was the first school to pay a coach a million.
It’s a full fledged sprint. To think that there are G5 programs that struggle to generate $15 million is revenue per year.
Another step towards the total re-organization of college football as we know it.
fifyImagine what he's going to do with all that talent Eddie O bought him.
I am less sure of the TV deal value than you are. PAC12 footprint doesn't tune in.I don't worry much about these paydays. The money in the Pac-12 will be better than anywhere except the SEC, B1G and ND. CU will be able to top any G5 coach contract and be in the middle of P5. I never expected to be in a position to poach Notre Dame or Oklahoma for a coach anyway.

As long as we fix the finances well enough that CU is able to move quickly to recover from its mistakes. That's what really makes me envious of the LSU funding. Whatever your pay scale, you've got to have the financial infrastructure to support it. I don't care if you're buying out a $15M a year contract or a $5M a year contract, this is essential.I’m starting to think this is highly advantageous to programs like CU. Being in the 2nd tier should give CU and like schools access to all the G5 talent and lower tier P5 talent.

I've been saying the same thing for at least a year. This can't continue. This is a nuclear arms race at this point.
As long as wealth keeps getting sucked upward, this can and will continue…I've been saying the same thing for at least a year. This can't continue.
And if it were a real nuclear arms race, I think CU would maybe be Luxembourg.
Either is his performance. Based on that, he's WAY overpaid.KD salary is not even average among his peers. Money has ruined college football.
