My guess - A CU alumn doing it from the International Space Station! I think that would be cool.

A CU guy just got back - had the Buff flag with him the whole time (and now I think it's on display in the Engineering Building). If you weren't kidding - I agree with you - I think this would be creative & really fricking cool! :thumbsup:

no kidding? we just had a guy get back too. guy was from Ashland, NE. Probably were on the same unit together. Imagine that...geez!

That's a great idea, but we don't have any Buffs (or Fuskers for that matter) on the Station at the current time. Now if Iowa Wesleyan (Peggy Whitson), Kharkov Military Aviation School (Yuri Malenchenko), or Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Dan Tani) are playing football on ABC this weekend, then a Station crew member might be available!:thumbsup:

Too bad. CU has sent more alumns to space than any other university and I thought this Friday would be the perfect time to showcase our outstanding contributions to the US space program on national TV.

The way this season has gone, it wouldn't be that unreasonable to see a BCS championship game between Kharkov Military Aviation School and MIT. I think I'd have to take Kharkov Fightin' Stalinistas in that one. No mercy and will fight to death or be killed afterwards.
 
at the lunch today i saw michael westbrook, which made us think it would be...Rae Carruth and Lawrence Phillips. Both from their jail cells. :lol:
