50 yr Buff...it never goes away regardless of age the first game jitters. Been a week since Harvey hit us here.. 8" of rain in 12 hrs. Buffs-Brisket & The Blackout Boys it doesn't get any better than that.

Sudden light went on for the reason for artificial turf in the new stadium.
Just got on the light rail at Lincoln Station by Park Meadows. A few older dudes like me in CU gear, then a bunch of CSU coeds - more than a dozen of them.
Has CSU not started back to school, or are these the ones that could not get in to CU AND failed out of CSU?

Reason #637 why I hate playing at NamedAfterADefunctCompany Field at Mile High: it seems like 2 out of every 3 years, there's been a Broncos game that weekend, and about the best we can look for in terms of field decoration is nothing at all.
Remember when they had tiny "CU" and "CSU" lettering in the respective end zones? It looks so freaking bush league. I mean, it seems silly to care about that stuff, but it's just another way that this series is holding us back. This game is just perceived to be a minor league afterthought of a rivalry, and **** like playing on a field with high school lettering or nothing at all adds to that.
