Karl Dorrell officially named Colorado HC

From my understanding, CU Administration love Calhoun, but have concerns about his offense week in and week out in a Power 5 to include being able to recruit talent consistently. He makes $725K+ at his current job. So his and his staff's salaries fit nicely into CU's budget.

If Calhoun was a slam dunk, they wouldn't have interviewed Sark after they had interviewd Calhoun. CU wants Sark, but can the money be worked out for all?

From my understanding.... Sources?

Random thought on Calhoun: If the AFA was located in a state other than Colorado, would guys be so high on him?
Similarly, if we didn't have our past with HWSRN, I think we'd be higher on Bryan Harsin, who I think is a better candidate than Calhoun. He's done better in the MWC, he's recruited better and he's fared better against P5 competition.

Please RG pull me out of this spiral and announce that Sark is our next HC

He would say YES, knowing that would never happen, or he would say YES, because he doesnt know **** about football

He knows enough about college football to know there's no way in hell ND would ever even consider a service academy coach, so that gives him cover to do what you said - say yes, knowing it would never happen.

If he's being honest, though, he'd be mortified.
