Kyler Murray is your Heisman winner

Not real CU relevant, but I thought we needed a thread if for no other reason than to make fun of everybody who said Tua was going to win this hands down.

23-3 so far. 2 seasons with 2 Big 12 titles & 2 trips to the CFP. That meets my standard of "great".

I think the job he has done has been outstanding. Those losses though have been enough to keep him out of the NC club. Don't get me wrong, I'd take that record at CU in an instant but at places like Oklahoma the measure of great is winning NCs.

The way his teams can score he doesn't need to shut anyone out but the best teams are going to have defenses that get some stops against him, he needs to be able to at least slow down the top teams to win it all.

If the only comparison it’s slightly better than is the name of a space character from a science fiction movie, you’re not on solid ground.
Kids are being named Kylo now, in honor of that space character.

Bama had Jalen Hurts waiting in the wings. What about OU? I'd say Murray is more valuable to OU than Tua is to Bama and hence Murray winning the Heisman.
