Anybody else wonder what will become of McKnight now that CH is wearing the headset and relaying plays? Sure #21 will still get his possession catches - which is good - but it sure looked better seeing the ball getting spread around.
No doubt.
All I'm saying is before the progression seemed to be: "Oh, *uck, where's Scotty?!!?"
Scotty will still do very well. He's not a great deep threat, but, every good team needs a route runner and possesion receiver...Scotty is that.
I like Scotty Mcknight but seriously has anyone ever seen a wide out run into tackles more than him?
He catches the ball with huge amounts of space and originally it looks like he could run for days and then sure enough he finds someone to run into and get tackled. A couple times against Kansas he turned and there was nothing but green grass ahead and like clockwork he managed to get 9.5 yards or 10 in one instance. It's uncanny.
Just an observation.
Maybe true, but, he saves our ass with precision more often than not and catches everything thrown his way. I'll give up speed for consistancy...especially if the offense can actually allow him to become the possesion type receiver he's supposed to be.
it is nice to see the ball go to more than one guy lately.... I like mcnight but we need to move the ball around...
Probably still a solid #2. Simmons has zero catches since the csu game :wow:
defenses and DC's need to see us move the ball around.
Scotty will get his. he's a good player.
