Looks like a 3 way race for QB? Who do you guys like as starting QB?

Ok - here is my cliffsnotes version of the Buffs for ya:
1990 - National Champions. Dominant through the middle of the 1990's under Coach Bill McCartney (we had some strong years under his replacement Rick Neuheisel, but he dumped us for U-Dub and left us with some recruiting violations to clean up if I remember correctly). Heisman winner and "the miracle in Michigan" hail-mary play in 1994.
Since then, we've really only had one breakout year: 2001 when we beat #1 Nebraska 62-36 (you'll soon learn that this one game began the demise of the Nebraska CornF***ers) on the way to winning the Big XII championship over Texas but settling for an appearance in the Fiesta Bowl vs. Oregon. (If I remember correctly, we were .004 behind Nebraska in the final BCS rankings to decide who'd face Miami for the national championship).
Dan Hawkins has been here since the 2006 season, and while he has had to totally rebuild the program from the rubble that Barnett left us with - as everyone has mentioned, this is the year many people are expecting results.
I've seen D. Scott's name mentioned here as a player to watch - I think you should watch the running game as a whole - we've got a stable of backs who should be able to pick up some yards.
I'm also excited to see what we'll get out of our WR's. There has been much uncertainty around this group, but look for them to surprise. In order for our running game to be good, these guys must make defenses respect them.
There you go - oh, and by the way, the game day experience at Folsom, the Hill and Pearl Street are something you DO NOT want to miss.
Less than 1 week!!
EDIT: The QB race is between Hawkins & Hansen. I personally think it's Hakwins' job. There's an interesting race to see who will be 3rd string as well
Who is the third QB? It's been a beating the dead horse race for the last couple of years.

Now that you've got the background info, it's time for the advanced stuff. The season is less than a week away and you need to be prepared.
1. How to Make a Piss Balloon
That's right, the dreaded "Piss Filled Water Balloon." It's the perfect way to let an opposing fan or player feel welcome at Folsom! Since you'll be very drunk when making yours, it's important that you really know what you're doing beforehand. You don't want to be the idiot newbie who tried to piss directly into the balloon and ends up covered in his own urine, do you?
Here's what you need:
Beer
Balloons
A funnel (optional)
A bottle (size depends on how much beer you drink)
First you need piss. Beginners should first piss in a bucket, then transfer to the pop bottle using funnel. If you are an experienced pisser, you can show off by pissing directly into the pop bottle (depending on level of sobriety). Women who can piss directly into the bottle are rare gems loved and admired by Buffs fans the world over.
After filling the bottle, inflate a balloon. Place the end of the balloon over the mouth of the bottle - do this without letting any air out. After the balloon is on the piss bottle, turn the bottle upside down. The air will displace the piss in the bottle and fill the balloon with your "golden Buffalo elixir."
Possibly coming soon: 2. How, Where and Why to Burn a Couch

**** that, piss baloons are weak, it's all about the marshmallow filled nails. That is the recipe I want!

I will add that Colorado also had a good run in the late 60's through most of the 70's. We finished #3 in the country in 1971 behind #1 NU and #2 OU (our only two losses of the season were to those two teams), and that is still the only time teams from the same confrence finished 1,2,3 nationally. Yes even the SEC has not accomplished the feat.
In the 70's the buffs also had some big upsets as we ended Penn St's long winning streak, ended OU's record winning streak with a tie, beat powers LSU and Ohio St on the road and so on.
In the early 80's our program took a big hit with Chuck Fairbanks and he dug our athletic department into the ground. Coach Mac came in 83 I think and the buffs coming out party was the 20-10 win over #3 Nebraska in 1986. First win over the huskers since 1967.
Not to push anyone away from this site, but might I also suggest MontanaBuff's www.cuatthegame.com as a great CU football resource.
Me too. How the heck do you get a marshmallow into a nail? :wow:

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you credibly reference another poster's website. A good one at that.
