Love it?

Hate it?

Regardless, I take exception with those that say it represents a wave crashing over a mountain. It clearly depicts an immovable mountain denying the futile efforts of the wave coming against it.

no strong emotion either way. it's a logo. but, i do like that the mountain aspect isn't ignored. encouraged by that, actually.

Like it, but I think the HUGE font on the print is gonna take a bit of getting used to.

Doubt that I'll ever get used to Idol without Simon, though....

Like it.

I've been very impressed by the marketing efforts of the Pac 10. They are really looking to get our brand out there. I think it's terrific. Now if only CU had a decent product to put on the field, we'd be in great shape.

Betcha ASU and Zona are pissed they didn't manage to work in a saguaro cactus after all these years.

CU and Utah aren't even in yet and the PAC-10 gives the logo a mountain makeover.

The logo is too busy. More mountain. Less Shield. Maybe Ruffbuff can take a shot because we know he likes design by committee.

Hmmm, that mountainy thingy in the center kinda looks like a long stretch of highway at night. Suppose its $ocals way of interjecting an interstate?

Hate may be a bit strong (although that's what I voted...), but I definitely lean more toward "hate it" than "love it". I don't like the shield style or the big PAC across the top, just doesn't look right the way the letters are angled to fit into the shield.

kinda looks like a soccer logo to me, but its cool.

Good point, it does look kind of soccer-ish.

Love it. Like the marketing effort focusing on the Pac 10/12 schools strength of not just a school but a great destination i.e. mountains, ocean....It captures all the basics without being too complicated - kind of like the Ralphie Logo which I think is the best in college football!!

I think its awesome! The PAC has it all, baby! Ocean, mountains, even desert. The logo depicts the geographic diversity of the conference.

I think it's cool, especially when it gets a big 12 on it and it's paraded all over its own TV network, and CU is a major part of it.

That logo is like a Rorschach test...to me it looks like a volcano in the middle and the "wave" coming from the left and going downward represents a subduction zone that created the volcano...clearly it's biased towards the teams in the Cascades of the Pacific Northwest...

/damn you, geology minor...
