read the very last two comments by Michael Warden and Doug Wray. I have not worked with Warden, but I work with Doug a lot in the Alumni office and I'd trust him more than this crappy site. I feel silly for giving that POS another hit from my browser.

It's BS. As the poster at the bottom of the comments section says, the writer is confused about the UCD/Health Sciences re-branding process. This has nothing to do with Boulder.

If this happens I am personally going to make it my life mission to become a "tagger" and spray paint in BLACK and GOLD Ralphies all over campus for the rest of my life. I figure the worst they can do is throw me in jail for day or two whenever I am caught. I will then get out and go and do it again till I am caught again and repeat till I am dead.

I work at CU med school, I think all the talk is about rebranding the CU-Denver/Aurora campus
This is 100% the case. An official from UCHSC/CU-Denver posted a comment on the linked article saying as much. They've been working on merging those 2 campuses for at least 4 years now and common sense tells me that that's what this is all about. There are articles in Silver and Gold all the time talking about votes on a new name and all that sort of stuff. No need to freak out (or change the colors you bleed).

Ya, I'm a student at the pharm school. I don't get why they would even go as far as to make that change. They hardly ever use the buffalo logo as it is. Its usually the "CU" emblem. I always get pissed about the lack of CU athletic support on that campus. Which I guess is to be "expected", lots of the students are grad students from out of state and there aren't any CU sports teams on that campus. Maybe I guess I was spoiled too much at boulder.
Was that at DIA?

Pezman, I took the liberty of spray painting the crane gold - I hope you don't mind. I think it gives a nice jaundiced look - the price paid for too much partying. Maybe that's why it is close to extinction. Anyway CU has always had a rep as a great party school. My liver can attest to that.
