I've tried to be more positive this go round but the OL recruiting as you stated ,should have been damn good this year. The in-state talent alone yet cu is being shut out . They should have been able to land 2 of the 4 in-state.

I've tried to be more positive this go round but the OL recruiting as you stated ,should have been damn good this year. The in-state talent alone yet cu is being shut out . They should have been able to land 2 of the 4 in-state.
I'm a little concerned too, but we haven't played a SINGLE GAME yet. We have a completly new system.
If we come out and road grade some people, I think we'll see some of these guys have renewed interest in us.
New plan: run for 300 yards a game. Lets see what's going on in November before we start saying coaches can't recruit.

To be fair, a lot of the anger towards OL recruiting has been because of the failures in state. In state recruiting is the property of JD Brookhart, not Marshall. So, not to entirely blame Brookhart or Marshall, it's a team effort disappointment on the OL recruiting front. Hopefully they turn it around before signing day.
Hopefully Callahan is one of the "couple more".
Need at least 5 OL per class. But we are at a point with OL that we don't need bodies, we need contributors. Looks like we've already signed our project for this class. I'm coming up short of "players" to fill the other slots.
What's the thought on Callahan? Is he planning to take an OV to CU, or are we counting on a Auburn meltdown with sanctions?
