Howell and Howell saying Safety play could be marginally improved from last year due to improved depth? The Kool-Aid is running strong even in a guy who isn't traditionally an overt cheerleader!
I don’t know about improved depth, but Safety play was atrocious last year. Hard to get worse
Given your posting history, not sure you are a great judge of coaching quality.
Lighten up. I don't think anybody is busting on MT here. That being said, let's see what he can do before we annoint him the next great CFB HC. I certainly hope he will be, but I think it is safe to tap the brakes until the team posts at least a few W's.

CU Buffs WR Daniel Arias focused on constant improvement
The majority of his Colorado teammates and all of his coaches were long gone from the practice field, but Daniel Arias wasn’t done working.

Yup, don't care what the approach is if the coaches aren't very good at coaching it.
JE (and his staff) preached discipline and self-control yet lacked it themselves.
I am not as close to the program as some others here but my impression is that HCMT is in absolute control over his actions, his words, and his staff. They model what they expect, not just talk (scream) about it.
Just curious..... How fast does Landman run, or how fast will he run in the future, in your opinion?

You can't compare Embo to Mel Tucker dude. Embree had never been anything more than an NFL position coach before he came back here, and would not have gotten a sniff at this gig had he not played here. Tucker has been an interim HC in the NFL, spent a decade in the NFL as a coordinator, worked for Nick Saban at three different schools, has been an assistant for two different national championship winners (and coached in a 3rd NCG at UGA). Jon Embree is a hell of a Buff, but his resume isn't close to that of Tucker's.

Who does Summers mention at 3:37 in this free video where he's talking about young DL guys? He mentions Rodman and then someone else, then moves on to Austin Williams. I cannot for the life of me figure out who he is talking about between those two.

Love the position switch and hope it works out....also, I believe the change in depth at WR could play into a guy like Mims reconsidering the Buffs.

I would have never expected that. Worth a try, though. He's a good athlete, so put him in a new position where he has a better chance to succeed rather than make the same mistake the program did with Ento. Hope it works out.
Yeah even with Luckett and Thomas moving to CB, the Buffs are rolling at least 9 deep at WR in 2019 of guys who will/can legitimately contribute, and that number will be about the same in 2020. Besides, Mims is good enough to jump a number of those guys as a true freshman anyways.
oh for sure...but it can't hurt. I am sure recruits look at position numbers and this has to help.
