Official ****braska Hate Thread

View attachment 97076

Would be a hell of a lot better if we had games to look forward to...
I don't know how others view this, but I prefer not to play nebraska - at least in football. On some level the nostalgic hate is kind of fun (which is the point of this thread), but on the other, the husker fans that come to Boulder are such raging assholes, that I prefer not to deal with them. No other fan base shows up so rude, so in your face (okay, maybe K-State) and so provocative (okay, maybe CSU too). But it's not fun, when I'm trying to be welcoming of other fans, for them to be so overtly confrontational.

For the record, I don't think that's how nebraska fans behave around other fanbases, but in my experience, that's how they are in Boulder/Folsom, and I don't really enjoy dealing with it.

I love the hate from college rivalries. It's one of my favorite parts of the sport. So, I am in lockstep with how you feel about them but my reaction is that it makes it a game I need on the schedule.

I wish we could go the other way from mega conferences and have enough non-conference game slots each year to allow us to play the Nubs and Rams every year.

Wait a sec....Buff fans deserve nasty treatment from the Nubs for years and years and years of us throwing piss balloons at them, launching their grandmas down Folsom's aisles, etc.

You need to wake up and acknowledge reality....

And to that point, we don't show up as well with husker fans as maybe we do for others. I just find nebraska fans extra annoying.

I think when I was younger, I indulged the hate and conflict a little more. But now that I'm 35, less so.

I'd bet Oregon has a new hatred for Indiana now. They got embarrassed by them twice.

No way. Not the classiest fanbase in America!!!

After one early kickoff Blackout Friday game against the nubs, in which we pregamed way too hard starting at 6am, an elderly woman in nubs gear gave us a bag of like 20 leftover Thanksgiving turkey sandwiches as we filed out of Folsom. Those sandwiches probably saved my life.

With the exception of that woman, all fusker fans can go straight to hell.
