i feel like we aren't communicating. like, maybe we should hit a hooka bar and grab a few fair trade espressos. maybe join a book club together or something. no judgements here. hugs and support.

i'm like in a good place. our Buffs are about to hire a coach who will go through the p12 like sherman through georgia. sorry for the war reference. i hope no one is, like, triggered, man.

I know we all try to pretend the players are one some sort of other mental plane, that they are totally insulated from any sort of outside influence. They are college kids. They look ahead. They get excited about rankings and press. They get depressed by bull**** coaching.
I know I have a new energy right now - I am back to enjoying reading about the Buffs and college football in general...if only for this one week. And I'll bet they are too. I'll bet they are thinking, "hey, someone out there actually thinks we have been trying and have the skills to succeed, and that someone actually gives a **** about us which is why he fired our coach. Let's win."

Ummmm I expect a pretty ugly game, but I think Roper and staff will lead these kids like they've got nothing to lose, and these kids will play their asses off for him because there's nothing to lose-Buffs 19, Cal 13.
