Official Buffs vs. Oregon Score Prediction Thread

Good comments.

I think it's good we are on the road this week. Less distractions. Obviously as has been pointed out depth is an issue.
Bo Nix has happy feet if he gets pressured and can get his apples picked like a 2005 Brett Favre.

However, none of us expected to go undefeated this year. Its ok.

I feel like this game will be a shootout. Whoever can make a single stop on D, or has the ball last will win. Lewis will need to open up that playbook against a top-ten team. Hopefully see another toss run play. I think that would work for either McCaskill or Edwards.

If it comes down to a one score game, three minutes left or less, and Buffs have the ball. Give it to Shedeur and just believe.

Our running backs have gained 258 rushing yards. However they have also gained 182 receiving yards. So in total we have 440 yards from the RB position for a 146 yards per game average. In this kind of offense the rushing attack includes lots of quick outlet passes and screens.
Agreed, but the problem is how the defense defends the pass used as a run vs the run used as a run. CSU was able to put 5 guys in the box and still stopped the run. Rush 4 and drop everyone else most of the game, which allowed them to keep everything in front and rally up and tackle our quick game. The only way to change that is to be able to actually run the ball and force them to put a sixth or seventh defender in the box.

That’s the book on this offense. Rush 4, drop 7 and don’t let our best players beat them deep. They’re going to have to actually run the ball to force a change

Javon Antonio has a breakout game. The O-line has their best game helping lead the way with 120+ rush yards. Defense gets 4 sacks with forced fumbles.
