“There’s no way Colorado finishes ranked ahead of Nebraska” - BuffSurveyor, circa September 2016.

He’s the quote machine that keeps producing. No matter how many times he’s proven to be completely erroneous, he keeps coming back with the hot takes.

Maybe one day he’ll be right, but I doubt it.

The odds of him being right anything related to this sport are about as high as the odds of CSU getting a Pac 12 invite.

Was thinking about Nebraska's schedule a little more, and there is a chance that as much as folks are calling it easy, there is a chance it is full of landmines, because they get all the TOUGH games at home, meaning a very good team is coming to town and they are more than capable of beating you. Then, the EASIER games are on the road, thus a supposedly lesser team could make beat them in the best possible environment for said "upset".
TOUGH
Ohio State, Northwestern, Wisconsin, and Iowa at Home
Every one of those teams can and probably will beat Nebraska
EASIER
at Colorado, at Minnesota, and at Purdue (even at Illinois and at Maryland)
supposedly lesser teams will be playing at home, and thus will be excited to beat them and Nebraska's roster is not way more talented than any of these teams.
Only GUARANTEED WINS are probably South Alabama, Northern Illinois, and Indiana
My point is that something that looks like an easier schedule because the tougher teams are at home could prove to be the opposite???
Never know, could be a 3-9 or 4-8 season for the Huskers!!! (hopefully)
And we all know that if Adrian Martinez gets hurt, they will struggle to get to a bowl game for sure

They're going to beat Illinois and Maryland probably. The Nubs are the same type of team we are.....6, maybe 7 wins and an appearance in a lower tier bowl game.

Sad news here.
1971 was a good year for football.

You seem like the kind of guy who sits on his hand and then calls it the stranger. It’s not 1971 it’s 2019 and Nebraska hasn’t won more than 4 games in 2 seasons.

Q: Did you hear that Nebraska's football team doesn't have a website?
A: They can't string three "Ws" together.

Thanks for being an ignorant idiot.
The 1971 season ended with Nebraska, Oklahoma and Colorado ranked 1, 2, 3 in the final polls.
I wanted to see if you said that because the nibblets were number 1 or due to the fact the 71 big 8 was the best conference of all time. Well done and I'm sure the Branch family appreciates your condolences.
