Thought I saw it in a box score last night when I got home...plus the quote above from Tractor...
I've been trying to find the video on the espn.com website to post it - no dice yet. Kind of a ****** site if you ask me...
The reported attendance for the first game also failed the eye-ball test. My theory is that what is being reported in the box scores is PAID attendance, not butts in seats .... so most/all of the students are not being counted since they are being allowed in for free. If you figure a student attendance of maybe 2500 at the first game and 2000 at the second game and add that to the reported attendance, you get to a figure that seems about right based on what we saw.
If I remember right, wasn't the reported attendance at the CU game in Lubbock way higher than what seemed to be the number of people there? That could also be caused by "paid" vs "actual" attendance if a bunch of season ticket holders didn't bother to go to the game.
