I don't think there is any question about Chev's ability to develop WR's. They block and play physical, and they play with discipline. Chev has about as good of a pitch as he could have right now. The QB pipeline might concern some elite WR's as it's not really clear who's going to be throwing the ball in 2020-21 at this point.
 
Maybe you know the answer to this or not, but is Chev considered primarily a great recruiter only, or is his coaching also seem as a great strength? His recruiting doesn't appear to be a question mark, but is he also seen as one who can develop talent in a significant manner?

I think he is a solid position coach, but a WR coach at the college level makes their name in recruiting because WR is just not really a developmental position because the learning curve is not that steep. The best two WRs CU has had over the last decade are Shenault and Richardson. A coach is not so much developing that type of talent as motivating and challenging them to be the very best.

I think the noticeable difference with Chev was that first season in 2016 when Ross, Bobo and Fields were all blocking down field, which I think plays to Duff’s comment on the motivational aspect of a WR coach.
