Former CU Buff under Neu and Barnett. Played O-Line here and for 4-5 years in the NFL. He's been a grad assistant for two years here, helping with the O-Line. We could do a lot worse.

He seems like a good get. I have a feeling he's a bay area guy (played with the 49rs, now at stanford. I bet with his mentor, Cabel, looking like he's going to be the Raider HC this guys is just doing prep work so he can be the Raiders line coach and stay in the bay area. JMO

He hasn't graduated from college yet, a prerequisite. But he is only three classes short.

I'd bet the guy will be someone who Hawk is familiar with, maybe someone with Boise St. ties. The other thing Hawk needs is someone with strong Texas ties.

According to Ringo we interviewed former Illinois State Head Coach Denver Johnson. But he also says the job might go to Stan Brock. If it does, Bedell is on the staff for another year anyway (1 yr left on his grad assistant deal):
