Oregon is #1

Scoreboard. It's been 5 years and more than 10 games since a 'big boy' has beaten Boise. That they refuse to play them for the most part is no surprise. It's better to schedule three or four laydowns (see Nebraska) before conference play starts than to schedule an almost automatic loss. Kudos to Oregon last year for actually going to Boise.

I'll believe they're overated when they get beaten a single time.

They did beat VTech at VTech which isn't easy. They did beat an Oregon St. squad at home (Oregon St.'s QB was also playing his second collegiate game, both of his first two games were on the road).

If Boise State was playing in the Pac they would be a middle of the road team right now. With this year's squad. They can definitely beat anyone in any given week. Many teams can. When you face an easy schedule that keeps your guys healthy, you should expect to be clicking on all cylinders at the end of the year.

When you slug it out in a major conference it is much, much more difficult to go undefeated. When all is said and done, this counts. A one loss team from the Pac or Big X or Big XII or SEC should go the the title game over an undefeated BSU team. It may be unfortunate, but their schedule is very, very weak...

:yeahthat:

at this point boise can be credited with a SINGLE win of a ranked team on the road. that win was versus the #23 team right now. pardon me if i do not find that worthy of a demand for a national contender. a bcs bowl player? sure. why not?

boise would improve their ability to play ranked competition significantly if they agreed to a home and homes. the fact that they haven't, to me, is telling.

Oregon will ***t the bed like always. Have fun while you are #1 f or now! Mizzery isn't winning anything in the north. They will choke like always.

All that is certain is we are a bottom feeder who couldn't even compete in the Mountain West. Thank you DII.

At least we could finish above csu in the MWC, oh and maybe UNLV because the rammies beat them.:smile2:
