Holy sh!t. At this point you can't change my mind from the fact Kyle McCord has been paid to throw this game.

Former Buff Savion Washington playing tackle for Syracuse. Impressive looking guy, huge.

Also just getting worked by the Pitt pass rush. If he's winning 50% of the time I'd be surprised

He does look terrible but by this point he is just trying to survive. He's been bad against pressure, which is leading Pitt to use more pressure on him making him panic even more.

Other game isn't much good either. ODU just killing GA Southern. Georgia Southern is one game from bowl eligibility, not going to get it tonight. Last year they were in a similar situation and lost 5 in a row to stay home.

They lost to Stanford. That’s all you need to know.
When I am writing the OP for this thread each week I look at a lot of schools schedules to see how they are getting to their records.

It seems this year more than most there are a lot of schools that have built impressive records by playing really weak schedules.

It often blows up on them when they finally face some real competition including team with worse records because they played much better competition.

According to lore, my old high school lost to Gunnison by over 100 points in their first ever football game. Gunnison allegedly scored every time they touched the ball, which I assume means punt returns, kick returns, interception returns, and fumble returns.

My point is, it is possible to score a ****load of points without having any real statistical offense, but the other team has to be really bad.

So Northern Colorado and Fort Lewis still have a chance. . .

To give up 100 that is. :giggle:

UNC can easily pull that off.

Colorado College had the worst college football program in America in the 80s and 90s. (They recruited me, lol.) They dropped the program in the early 2000s, but if there ever was a program that could have given up a hundred burger, it would have been them.

My point is, Salida has always sucked.

Hey - Salida held the state record for consecutive victories until it was broken by the school a few blocks from here.

Does it really count if it includes wins over schools like Buena Vista?

Believe or not, during the streak, Salida won state championships against Fort Collins, Colorado Springs HS (later Palmer), and somebody else.

Rutgers really kicking off at 11pm their time. So stupid that this is what “needed” to happen with college football
I don’t care much about USC or Rutgers, but this is really a sham. If a Big Ten game needed to be played on this Friday night at 8 pm Pacific time, have it be with two of the former PAC 12 teams, or at least a team from the Central time zone. Having an East coast team finishing a game after 2 AM Eastern time is ridiculous. Player safety, betting lines, league standings, and the competition itself are all being compromised here.

Eff em…the B10 has done everything they can to suck up as much of the available CFB TV revenue they possibly can…even to the detriment of the other leagues and schools. Those schools made their bed, they can lie in it.

CU would take a Big Ten invitation in about 5 seconds, and they should. But the sport badly needs some governance.
