Other Games 11/19 - 11/23

I mean, we know it won't happen but if it somehow did then this would be one of the funniest things ever.

#FireKirby just for making the fans sweat.
If he coached anywhere but there, that arrest record his program has would get him fired for cause.

I think its been close to 30 combined over the last two years?

Nah. Win a couple natties and like 30 straight home games and any university & fan base will find a way to gloss over some reckless driving by players.

If they are sweating it in the 4th quarter, and the committee ranks them ahead of the Indiana/tOSU loser, then maybe we just accept there will be 5 SEC teams in the CFP no matter what happens.

I don't think the CFP replaced the NY6 as "the meaningful objective teams played for". Rather, prior to organized attempts at naming a consensus NC (it started earlier, but the Bowl Alliance is good line to draw), the meaningful objective teams played for was a conference championship.

My contention is that in the playoff era conference championships have lost most of their relevance.

Nothing to do with NY6 or any bowl games.. honestly, I don't think bowls have been very relevant over my life as a fan (I guess for G5 teams they had more relevance over last few decades than they did for P5 teams).

I realize I have a minority opinion here, and am not trying to persuade others to my perspective.
So Bowls devalued conference champs?

I think conference champs still matters a lot.

Indiana's O-line and playcallingneeds to adjust, they're not really losing 1v1 battles, just letting free rushers through.

I don't think Howard has another 15/17 half in him.

First drive from Indiana is huge, need to at least get a couple first downs.

Ball game . . . .

Absolutely gutting for Indiana fans to have the Punter flubbing a good snap be the difference in this game.

I have a feeling the Buckeyes pull away in the second half.

I feel like IU is a lot like us last year. Very good skill position players but struggling to compete against the best teams along the lines. Probably a little better than we were in that regard, but similar story.

Edit: posted before I noticed the second half started. Already pulling away.
