CSU hanging around against Boise only down 7 but Boise is driving to put this one away

Looks like they only have about a dozen sections open which makes sense to cut down on the snow removal. Probably around 15K in attendance.

But, but,

I thought that spending hundreds of millions on a shiny new stadium was going to insure that they had 40,000 people showing up for games.

Playing the best opponent in their league, a reasonably warm day for a game, and nobody shows up.

And they are thinking they can afford to fire a coach with a huge buyout. If they fire him before January 1 he gets $5.5 million, wait till January 1 and that drops to $3 million. Wait another year and fire him in January of 2021 the buyout is $2 million.

If he is going to get fired it is to his and the school's advantage to do it earlier than January 1 so they could negotiate but remember that CSU's media share from the MWC, a key funding source is only a little more than $3 million.

Great throw and catch by WVU to go up 3 over TCU with just over 2 mins left. At least we have some drama since WSU is having yet another poor showing against the puppies.

ESPN lists Mines' playoff game today as @Texas A&M Commerce. The CSM and TAMC sites both list the game in Golden.

Mines is home (see the opening post in this thread.) If they win they would either travel to Minnesota State or host Pueblo depending on who wins that game.

Minnesota State is the top seed in the region but wouldn't surprise me to see Pueblo beat them, Pueblo has been turning it on the last few weeks and they are big by D2 standards which helps when the weather gets cold.
