Week 11, Game of the century, or at least this year’s version of it. And no we aren’t talking about the red cupcakes trying to get closer to .500 against the MAC.

No, this is this year’s big one so far, LSU at Alabama. LSU is ranked first in the polls, Bama second but Bama is favored by almost a touchdown. Can LSU steal the crown as the king of the mighty SEC from Nick Saban.

Before we get to that game there is a lot of other football worth paying attention to this week. Tuesday and Wednesday bring back the MAC games. A bunch of teams hovering around .500 looking for wins to get them closer to a mediocre bowl bid. All wish they had scheduled Nebraska so they could one more win at this point along with the money the fuskers pay for to be embarrassed in front of a horde of red clad, red neck, red hot mad home fans.

Thursday we get Temple (5-3) at South Florida (4-4), Friday could be interesting with a better than expected Oregon State (4-4) hosting a worse than expected Washington (5-4.) Maybe it was Nebraska, not Riley’s coaching that sucked in Lincoln.

Saturday has a number of very interesting games. (1) LSU at (2) Alabama as mentioned is the marque game but far from the only one of national interest.

In the top 25 the B1G has two games that will force some shuffling of the rankings. (5) Pedo State is at (13) Minnesota in a battle of unbeatens. If the Gophers can pull off the upset this game would propel them into the national spotlight for the first time in a long time. Also battling to move up instead of potentially fall out are (16) Wisconsin hosting (18) Iowa.

Most of the other top 25 teams have what look to easy opponents but a few might want to be careful. (9) Oklahoma is at home against a tough Iowa State (5-3) team that played them close last year and beat them in Norman in 2017.

TCU (4-4) are the Horned Frogs, (11) Baylor is just horny but unfortunately for their co-eds they don’t always ask permission. Baylor is overrated, is this the weekend their bubble gets burst.

After winning key games last week the PAC12 highest ranked teams (7) Oregon and (8) Utah are both on their bye week. Most of the other games will have a big impact in bowl placement. USC (5-4) is at ASU (5-3.) Washington State is at Cal, both schools are (4-4.)

Locally CSU has their second bye week this season. They will have only slightly fewer fans watching them than when they play. Air Force (7-2) is on the road for the closest thing to a bye week, a game at New Mexico (2-7.) Huge game for Wyoming (6-2) who with an upset win at (21) Boise could be in position to win the division. Boise though still has a shot at one of the Big 6 bowl games with a couple of breaks.

In local FCS action Northern Colorado (2-7) has a tough task with visiting Montana State (6-3.)

As per expectations in the small colleges undefeated Mines and one loss CSU-Pueblo keep on winning. This week Mines is hosting a tough team from Dixie State (Utah.) Pueblo has an easier opponent with Black Hills State coming into the Thunderbowl.

Beavs just got a pick 6 against Eason to make it 13-7 UDub halfway through the 3rd quarter on "PAC 12 After Dark ... Friday Edition."

They were gonna go on 4th and 5, umm, the center didn't snap it. The whole offense moved but him. :ROFLMAO:

Air Force game against New Mexico has been re-scheduled for Nov 23 after the death of UNM defensive lineman Nahje Flowers this week.

I heard this, very sorry for that young mans family, that’s got to hurt. God bless them. I was also very disappointed in Air Force’s press release on the subject. I’ll underline the parts I found unnecessary and confusing.

"We share New Mexico's grief over the tragic loss of Nahje Flowers and offer our deepest condolences. Air Force will now make the necessary steps to go along with Commissioner Craig Thompson and the Mountain West's unprecedented decision to cancel this weekend's game and reschedule. While Air Force has been disadvantaged by the decision, it pales in comparison to the loss New Mexico experienced."

Washington dominates Oregon State in Corvallis (Beavers had 8 total yards in the 2nd half) and still only manages to win 19-7. Yikes.

Holy ****, Minnesota's o-line average weight is 340, as a group... o_O That's ****ing crazy. 7-0 Minny.

Funny how Antonio Shelton, who was supposed to be suspended, is playing - I guess dirt is in Pedo's DNA
