Post your starting lineup for the men basketball team 2011-2012

i think Tomlinson will start the season at the point. come conference play, might see a change. would love to see Nate and Sharpe both take big steps forward in ball handling, distributing, and shooting the ball (Nate from 3, Sharpe finishing the dribble penetration)....but, we'll see.

not as confident as some that, while talented and with lots of upside, the FR come in and are power conference ready this season. would love to be proven wrong. but i do think they get some valuable minutes. you could easily point to Dre last season and say "Mick, Dre was ready to play on a team with a lot of experience....", however.

Starting to sound like health issues may limit SHT's playing time. Default starting 5 FTMFW.

Tomlinson
Sharpe
Brown
Dre
Austin

Hopefully by conference play our starting lineup will be:
Dinwiddie
Brown
Adams
Dre
SHT

Am I alone in thinking Nate shouldn't be at point? He didn't show me anything last year that inspires a ton of confidence. Get some young talent some game time and let Nate shoot. He was 46% from behing the arc last year. bring him off the bench, let him run around and catch and shoot. Minimize his horrible decisions and use him in opportunities where he can be beneficial to the team.

No - I'm completely with you. I've never liked Nate's game...he annoys me as much as Blair Wilson did for three years. However, just like Blair impressed me his senior season, I'm hoping Nate learns to just solidly fill a role - perimeter shooter and ball-handler (not play maker, not penetrator, not top defender, not distributor, etc). I do think at the start of the season, he will be starting at one, but I'm hoping that around Pac-12 time, Dinwiddie takes over. After that, Nate hopefully becomes a solid role player, and either Sharpe or Booker start spelling Dinwiddie (hoping Sharpe reaches his potential).

PG-Nate Tomlinson
SG-Carlon Brown
SF-Jeremy Adams
PF-Andre Roberson
C-Shane Harris-Tunks
