R G visited Sackygate yesterday

Rick George stopped by Sackygate for about 15 minutes yesterday. He was very engaging and complimentary of the tailgate location, shook everyone's hand, and spent more time visiting with us than he did at the other tailgates on either side of Sackygate. Of course, we congratulated him on all the things he's done for the Buff Nation since returning to Boulder.
 
Wish I could have made it yesterday, but had to wait to get up there right before kickoff. I have spoken to Bohn on several occasions and have no bad feelings toward the guy, but really want to meet George and let him know how great it is to have him here.

Oh and the graphic for the flag is being worked on this weekend.

Fully expecting to read the RG was stuck there for 15 min because ABers took turns humping his leg. Probably his first be and only stop
 
We talked to him for a bit at the Buffalance and got some pictures with him. I brought up the old video from 89 or 90 (?) where ABC showed him making recruiting calls from the sideline and how much I liked his longtime passion for the Buffs. He said that video actually caused an NCAA rule change preventing staff from doing that in the future.

Pretty funny stuff!

Wish I could have stopped by, but I've been informed by my 7 year old that Sackygate is "booooooorrrrrinngg!".
I would have thought there'd be a bouncy castle for @Burrito Palazzo, but noooo.....
