I was really talking about the Basketball payout. The football payout will be good since the B12 had 2 teams in BCS games and one of those was in the MNC game. The BB payout is pretty complex, the deeper that teams go into the tourney the bigger the payout. KU going all the way last year put money into CUs coffers.

I get ya on the BBall dollars. There could be a definite drop in $ from this hoop year.

We had 2 teams in bcs bowls last year, but 8 or 9 total bowl teams. The payout share for conf teams isn't that great for the lower tier games, but it's $$ the department won't get this year. I guess the money crunch is hitting from a variety of directions.
