Scott Frost in 1997. Almost an epic comeback by the Buffs.
Crouch in 2000. That one still hurst, long train ride home.
That '97 game was SOOO painful

If I remember correctly, Buffs scored 28 points in that 97 game (I remember it as 98, but you're probably correct). That '97 game was SOOO painful

That kick was good, dammit!I might have the year wrong, but the one we were down like 27-3 and came back and missed a potential game-winning FG at the end of regulation and then lost in OT.

#1 was the fupa guy I was talking about in some thread. Our D looked like they were running in sand.To start off this sharing of joy, I'll bring up 3 that still appear in my nightmares:
1. The Toledo game against a QB who wasn't a runner.
2. The Hawaii game that kicked off at like 3am against a QB who wasn't a runner.
3. Khalil Tate.
I always thought of the FUPA guy as Blaine Gabbert at Mizzou.#1 was the fupa guy I was talking about in some thread. Our D looked like they were running in sand.
No it wasn't. I don't know what the **** his name was?I always thought of the FUPA guy as Blaine Gabbert at Mizzou.
Not that he needed it, but I feel like the Toledo QB had a right arm when we played him.Aaron Opelt was the Toledo quarterback that ran all over us.

But when it came to FUPA he was no Blaine Gabbert:

Reesing was an incredible college QB. Him and Chase McDaniel.Todd Reesing for Kansas coming off the bench in the second half and scampering to a victory really pissed me off.

Kansas Rallies To Top CU 20-15 - University of Colorado Athletics
Freshman quarterback Todd Reesing started the second half and threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score Saturday to rally Kansas past Colorado 20-15.cubuffs.com

I liked Reesing as a player ( not against us obvs). Something about Chase Daniel kinda rubbed me the wrong way though I concede the Gary Pinkel era at Mizzou is aging very well. Respect.Reesing was an incredible college QB. Him and Chase McDaniel.
Mizzou always rubbed me wrong from the Old Big 8 Big12 days. Hated that greaseball slick haired Quin Snyder. Then again, I've got a family full of Jayhawks and Wildcats.I liked Reesing as a player ( not against us obvs). I kind of have neg feelings about Mizzou in general growing up a Big 8 kid. Not sure why and ya know Barney and Mac played for Dan Devine. So, a lot of CU success from the Devine tree.
I was a bigger hoops fan than most CU fans as a kid.....maybe I'ts a Norm Stewart thing.

Jesus, feel less dirty for going to Norman High when my CU grad mom remarried an OU Law guy. I liked Norman, btw,Mizzou always rubbed me wrong from the Old Big 8 Big12 days. Hated that greaseball slick haired Quin Snyder. Then again, I've got a family full of Jayhawks and Wildcats.
