Season Ticket Donation Question

I sit next to my parents in Section 217-

for years I have bought tickets from the guy that had his tickets next to my parents-
he passed away late last fall so I was able to get those
tickets put into my name a month ago-

here's where my questions comes onto play-

Looking at my parents' ticket renewal form they
have what is called a "reduced donation" and have
to pay $100.00 total for 2 seats-

On my ticket renewal form it's called a "public donation"
and the price is $400.00 for two seats-

What gives ????
My seats w/$400.00 donation are right next to $100.00 donation ones.

anybody else have "reduced donation" on their form?
if so how did you get that ?? my dad doesn't know....

i am not certain, but could it be because your folks have had the seats for so long that they are "grandfathered" into a smaller mandatory donation? you, on the other hand, just got the tickets in your name, so you pay market rates?

i remember some of the long-time season ticket holders bitching about the increased donation requirements and i think i recall they may have decided to step them up more slowly or something like that.

just guessing...

My parents just got season tickets. I will ask what their donation rate or whatever is, but I think they got cheaper area so I dunno.

That is my understanding as well.

I called the ticket office today & :sad1::pissed: you are correct. What a crock of crap. Looks like ITB is moving
his seats. This extra $200.00 per seat is pure BS !!!

Sorry to hear that. we sit in 217 as well and it would be nice to see you next season. I share my tickets and a not sure what we pay...but we have donated for parking for over ten years so it feels like we actually get something for our donation.

It is a bummer that not everone is required to pay the same amount for similar seats...at least from the perspective of someone having to pay the big bucks. Guess if I had the good deal I woud think it was righteous.

You bastages with money, I am still poor and i don't get to go to many games every since i graduated!
