Soccer Makes NCAA Tournament

:woot:

The important thing is to make the tournament. Then anything can happen.

:gobuffs:

CU's move to the Pac 12 helped a lot with this as it is the #2 conference in the country after the ACC (which got 8 team in and all the #1 seeds).

CU did lose by three goals earlier this season at DU, but talking to someone who was there, the game was close for a long time, then DU scored and CU gave up a couple of goals late when they were pressing to get the equalizer.

One factor that might help CU is that they play in a much tougher conference than DU (The Summit League), so DU's toughest matches took place in the non-conference portion of the season while CU has had its toughest games over the last five weeks or so.

Hopefully, that prepares them for the postseason more than Denver.
