Something to look forward to with trips to Tucson

Cheesus. Those people just can't let it go. I think they make this stuff up in order to make themselves feel better about their own shortcomings.

Agreed. I've done some stupid **** at games. Taunted Wisconson fans afterr we rolled em up by 35. Felt good and right but if caught on tape, which never happened in the early 90s, would have looked bush league.

lesson is bring your hard at in Az.

Ohio St, Michigan and Penn St are big enough fanbases to draw in the dregs of humanity. People who didn't go to the school, but merely root because they live in proximity to said campuses. Michigan's fanbase is a combo of elitist alums and white trash. These folks are called Walmart Wolverines.

My guess is that the Zona fans in the video are Walmart 'Cats, who give the UA alums a bad rep.

No doubt. Most Michigan and tOSU fans I've met have been pretty good, but NU played PSU in Happy Valley in 02 and got drubbed. I heard all kinds of horror stories about their fans, but what do you expect. They take off their Lions jerseys Saturday night and put on their Eagles jerseys for Sunday.

Is it worth going to jail over? No.

The Iowa alums are likely white collar, with much more to lose for getting into a melee at a football game. The Zona fans are likely blue collar folk working at AutoZone.

Tell you what, that little punk came up and smacked me like that, he'd be visiting the dentist. He is lucky one of those Iowa boys didnt kick his ass. Rest of them are just hammered talking **** and probably couldnt bust a grape.

Zona's stadium looks like it really sucks. I haven't been to many Pac 12 stadiums, but this bodes well for the Buff. No more Big XII arms races, as we likely already have the best stadium.

That is your thread title? and this is the content...weak sauce.

I was very disappointed opening this thread title to see that video, even though it was pretty entertaining. I'm also disappointed it took 23 posts before someone called out. At least dply came in quickly with the strong hand to make it worthy.

Holy ****...it's a leprechaun.

I don't see his bag of dicks though, so they must be just out of camera-view.

You are right, I just doubt I would take it unless my son was with me. As far as the Iowa guys, you have a point as well.

The Rivals main CFB board had a thread going on who had the worst home fans in the PAC 10, and it was immediately inundated with Huskers and few folks from Mizzou and OSU claiming it was going to be us. Lots of "stories" about batteries and piss balloons...I've never even seen a water ballon in 15 years of going to games, let alone one filled with piss. Granted they did bring up the student section getting ejected and the whole laser light thing that happened at the OSU game a few years ago. Personally I think our fans are way more behaved than in years past, maybe its all the losing. Most of the Pac 10 folks said it was Oregon, AZ, or Cal.

I have a feeling old Herbie Fusker is going to encounter a whole new breed of obnoxious fan at tOSU, Meatchicken and Penn State.

Once the heavy weights of the Big 11 roll out the welcome waggon, they'll be missing Boulder and it's fans for sure. I'm calling it now...

:yeahthat:

Tell Mizzery fans to go ***k themselves. They're just pissed because no one wants them and they are part of the red-headed step children of the Texas 10.

I think Michigan State stole them. That's why he is so pissed.

Personally, I'm looking forward to not having Division 2 Danny along for the trip. :smile2:

Personally, I'm looking forward to having the fuskers and their obnoxious, holier-than-thou jackass fans in somebody else's conference for a change.

Along with the fact that when they try to do their normal red plague stadium invasion they will realize the big boys (tOSU, MU,WISC, PSU) will be sold out and no tickets available. That and at tOSU they won't even stand out.

Our fans do get after it though.

I wore my Chicago Bears Rashaan Salaam #31 jersey to Folsom for the Nebraska game last year. The fans were merciless, chanting "Cutler" my way at least 50 different times. I mostly blame all of the idiotic Broncos fans who are still bitter that the Bears fleeced McD in that trade.

Guess our fans were too young (or stupid?) to remember that Salaam actually went to CU, and is likely our most heralded player.

You weren't the guy in the west stands that was escorted out were you?

Nope. I stayed classy. This drunk undergrad about 20 feet away from me just wouldn't shut up. After one last Cutler chant, I took off my sunglasses, handed them to my cousin next to me, and got up and began to walk over to him. Everyone near us was like "ahhhhh ****", thinking that I was going to go pound this kid. The look on his face was priceless too, as he was thinking "whoops, I said it one too many times." His friends all started to look away too. I sat down next to him and calmly mentioned that Salaam in fact went to CU and so did I. I patted him on the back and walked back to my seat. The people behind me couldn't stop smirking. That was the last Cutler chant I heard that day.
