Steve Sarkisian - former UW/USC HC/ Alabama OC (does CU have the balls to make this hire?)

I agree. However, wouldn't it be nice if we had a damn good coach who made it his personal mission to rub USC's faces in dog turds every year for 20 years?
Yes. Yes it would. However, it is not a hard and fast requirement. Just would be icing on the cake.

I still work in the beer industry and I’ve been sober for 17 months after almost losing my marriage and kids over it. It got bad and got to the point where as long as I was not sleeping, I had to have a drink. Would wake up in the mornings and need a drink.
I know what the disease is like, but now even working in the industry, I don’t even crave anything. It’s possible Sark doesn’t even get cravings.

I lost my son to alcohol 2 years ago. We were at many buff games, I got pissed at him because he couldn’t keep up walking to Folsom when he was four. We were in 109, 20 rows up. He said ‘daddy, can I walk down to the field to yell?’. Yep. He was on the rail in the horseshoe mocking out the cheerleaders. Ben Kelly caught a punt on our end and ran to the house. Folsom erupted. My son freaked and ran up those 20 steps as fast as his little legs could carry him.
Beat your disease!

Bama fan in the office said, “good riddance” if true about Sark. Not making the playoffs was not part of the process.

Then RTR mentioned Charlie Strong is now joining Saban’s stable of coaching rehabilitation.

Wow. So sorry for your loss. Your son was obviously gone way too soon.

I think Sarkisian knows hes got a shot to be an inspiration to millions if he can keep it together in this job-my little sister quit drinking after DUI #2. She's a CU fan, but doesn't pay the attention that Dad or I do. Did think the idea of him here was pretty cool just from that angle.

Given offense was not the issue for them this year, sounds like a stereotypical Bama fan.

The topic of fake punts and missed FG is a sore spot. So, yeah.

His “Good luck to Sark around the alumni” was rather mean.

Well Bryan McGinnis and Brian Michalowski both follow him on Twitter. So does Mike MacIntyre though, so it could be just random noise.
