I turned on the game when I got back home. Good guys down by 20. Turned the tv off.

As much as I hate NU, I think it's pretty funny that we both beat UT.
But we didn't make the Texan's children cry.
I can't imagine that the Horns fans are very happy right now. A week ago they could brag about being a top ranked team, now they are likely to drop out of the top 10.

I left to run an errand and it was fortysomething to twenty something. I do the errand, get in the car and ut had just missed a shot and the crowd was goiong nuts. I was like, "huh? Whats going on?" The Higgins was fouled, there were 3 seconds to go, and we were up by four with Higgins going to the line. Crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy!!!!

I had the game on and was doing some work. When UT got up close to 20, I switched over to the Rockies game. Figured it was over. Didn't check in again until I looked here and saw Mick's post that CU was making things jappen. Assuming he didn't have some kind of racist meaning, I figured I'd check it out.

I don't think I've ever seen a court storming in the 6 years I've been going to games. I really wanted to run down there but I think I probably would have gotten in trouble and been a bit too obvious with my tuba on...
Just got home and all I can say is that the team just would not quit. Tad can coach and the team has a ton of grit. What a great atmosphere in the foam dome in the second half. Fans did a great job of getting into it as CU surged. Texas was tired in the second half and it looked like they lost their legs.

Kidding aside, I thought CU could beat Texas in Boulder, but certainly wasn't putting money on it. One of the best wins for these guys since I've been paying attention.

The only basketball court storming we did when I was at CU was in 2006 when we beat #19 Oklahoma...
I guess I might have been there for that. I don't think I'll forget this one against Texass though. Beating number 5 with that crowd was something special.
