Takeaways from the game? Revised expectations?

Well, game experience is only part of the equation though. Oliver was a true sophomore on that team and flashed enough to generate NFL buzz as basically the #3 CB. Talent still matters.

Being young and showing lots of potential can be mutually exclusive.
Again I haven't talked about talent here except to agree with you about the DBs. I don't see pro talent playing on the back end at this time, I do see kids who can play power 5 though. They need games played under their belts though to play against better athletes and have a chance to win. Let's take Onu, He has by far the most games played, some have suggested he's the team mvp so far. A kid from a g5 program that's being looked at as CUs mvp, why? is it because he has played in and learned from that experince? Do you think he's the athlete Mark Perry is, yet he's the one playing, Why is this, this goes against your thinking and most on here. I would take these players with this staff after two years of playing, maturing, learning, getting bigger and stronger. Let you pick the greatest players in CU history playing as first time college players and this staff and team would kick the crap out of them. You know this is a true statement. Game time matters also, get this with better players and CU football is goint to be great again. I don't disagree with anyone about needing better players to be clear, this team needs both is all I'm saying.

Dishonest, rambling, incoherent.
