The new "The Rise" debuts tonight at 6:30 MTN time on PAC-12 National

I just wish they had more time. The pace of editing suffers because of the hard 23 minute cap for TV, especially when they have so much amazing footage.
I do agree with this. I wish they were longer than what they are. You can definitely feel the time crunch as most of the episodes really rushed the 3rd game of the episode. Less is heard from practices and whatnot. The editing in 5 was really good considering all that they covered. The leadup to the zona game, with the voice over of HCMM with the slow motion bus ride with police escort...man...almost ran through a wall at that moment.
Episode 5 was really good. I'd love it if they packaged these for Bluray and sold em. Maybe even throw in some extended footage since the time crunch of broadcast won't be an issue.
I'm really glad they did this series. As it's hard to really cherish the moment of something as special as this season while you're in the actual moment.

I REALLY liked seeing Laguda showing some leadership on defense (let's help these seniors go out winners - that's on us). And then of course we have the Tasmanian Devil on offense as well.

We may be losing some talent next year, but the leadership is going to be there.
