The smirk

Anybody who loves the game of football would have had a similar reaction. Our boys played their guts out and so did NU. It was a clean, hard-hitting game for opponents and coaches who obviously respect both the other team and the game. I commented several times to my boys that the game was played like "it used to be played." I would have liked a different result but I see this game as the start of a new era of competence and excellence for both programs. Believe me, it is a lot more fun on the Friday after Thanksgiving to have both programs playing well and with heart.

MY PREDICTION: CU/NU 2009 = Winner goes to the B12 Championship = Order Restored

Awesome, awesome post. I hope it comes to fruition.
