back to 8, now. 2 min left in first half. the Bears have been awful the last 3 years, but they are for real this year. 4-0 against the MWC.

they have a nice combo of motion offense, ability to really shoot the 3 and active, serviceable inside play. they are tough to to keep from scoring. they get easy hoops off the motion, and stick the good 3 looks they get as a result.

Boyle is always going to be a KU douche in my book, but i'm impressed. switching back and forth from other games.
 
poorly timed technical for Boyle. if he wants to make a point about the officiating (couple bad calls against UNC or no calls, but it's been bad both ways)....he should have done it a minute or two ago. now only 3:49, can't put OU on the line and give them an extra possession down 3 possessions. not enough time.
 
OU had it won, got sloppy.....UNC hit a couple 3's, stole an inbounds pass.....2 point game with 7 secs left.

UNC will get a shot to win/tie depending on FT's. most likely.

OU misses front end, UNC boards it off a loose ball and then throws it right to OU's guy.

game over. 80-79.
 
UNC needs to get D-1 looking unis. no uni should have all the letters for "Northern Colorado" on them. too much.
 
I'd love to see UNC win its conference and get to the tourney this year. Denver, too, though that's less likely. Anything that promotes basketball in this state is a really good thing at this point.

Shorten it to UNC. Change their colors to more of a powder blue.

I have a feeling they'd at least look like a pretty good D-1 hoops program then.... :cool:
