Uninformed radio waves

Are you saying that hasn't happened before?

Um, what Basketball or football coach has been hired away in the past 20 years. That would be one. The Neuweasel. He was a douche nozzle that everyone was more than happy to see go.

Are you serious?

Jeff Bzdelik was just hired away by Wake Forest less than a year ago.

Bzdouche.... But again, happy to see him go as well

Although with Bz, everyone knew he was looking, and was gone as soon as the right opportunity appeared. From what hear, was Slick Rick doing the same thing?

Sorry, total Brain lock on Bzz, but as was said, he is a notorious job hopper. Anyway, this argument is kind of stupid, Tad isn't going to Oklahoma.

I would say in general, coaches seem to be pretty fond of staying at colorado. Hell, Barnett after he was fired stayed and has his foundation based in boulder now. There arent too many coaches out there that have anything bad to say either.

i think Boyle will get a decent raise as soon as a few weeks from now.

Money talks. If a school like Oklahoma starts throwing $2 million out there, and he's making less than $1 million at Colorado - that's not going to be a difficult decision to make.

That being said, OU's last dozen hires have all been low budget hires. Castiglione has shown that he would prefer to hire a young hungry coach, who can be hired on the cheap, and then give raises if the coach is successful. He hired Bob Stoops as an assistant coach for $700k a year. He hired Jeff Capel for less than $1 mil a year from VCU. He hired Sonny Galloway (baseball) from within the program and paid him a modest salary. Even when they hired their new football radio play-by-play guy, Castiglione hired a guy with absolutely no football play-by-play experience and paid him peanuts. Look back at when OU hired their women's basketball coach (before Castiglione's time) they hired the local high school girl's coach.

All that being said, the rumors here are that Marquette's coach is OU's #1 target.

Something's gotta give. Castiglione has made hires that weren't very expensive, but it will prolly take $2mil (or more) to get their top "target" (Williams from Marquette).

Now, with Anderson leaving mizzery, does that mean we may have another suitor targeting Tad Boyle?

Which of these coaches doesn't belong:
