The Buffs (15-8, 7-6) are back in action tonight at 7pm when the host #22 California (15-7, 8-5). The Buffs are coming off of back to back sweeps to Washington and Stanford, while Cal has won 5 of their last 6 matches. The match will not be televised but it will be shown for free online. Cal is ranked 22[SUP]nd[/SUP] overall in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll. The Bears are 15-7 this season and are tied for fourth with the Buffs in the Pac-12 with a 7-5 record. They are fresh off a 3-2 win against UCLA after dropping a four-set match to No. 4 USC last week. Cal is 2-2 this year on the road in Pac-12 play.

Adrienne Gehan is averaging the fifth best kills per set total in the Pac-12 with 4.27. Christina Higgins ranks second on the squad with 3.15 kills per set and Lara Vukasovic chips in 2.42 kills per set. Vukasovic has the best hitting percentage on the team, .352. The team is attacking at a .249 clip thanks to Joan Caloiaro who has been handing out 11.55 assists per set this season (second in the conference).

Mandy Kerr is leading the way in the back row for Cal with the league’s 10[SUP]th[/SUP] best mark of 3.65 digs per set. Gehan adds an additional 3.12 and Caloiaro is third on the team with 3.00 digs per set. At the net, Cal is led by Vukasovic, who is recording 1.16 blocks per set. Lillian Schonewise is second with 0.97 blocks per set.

Cal owns a 4-2 record in the all-time series against the Buffs. Earlier this season, CU fell 3-0 to Cal in Berkeley, Calif. on Oct. 9.
