Weekly "Fire Neinas" thread (week 3)

One of the better Freshman Punters in the country - continues to get immense pressure. Not due to poor blocking, it is a scheme to release the lineman to run downfield and have three backfield defenders try to stop 4, 5 or 6 rushers who are inches away from blocking punts (and field goals) or they do in fact block them.
Is Neinas the problem? No, he is inept and needs to go, without question. The problem is with the Head Coach who is ultimately responsible for the schemes and product on the field. The special teams are a mess, yet absolutely zero changes in the alignment on punts or field goals.
Please Rick, stop the bleeding and fire the Head Coach now - give Leavitt a full recruiting cycle and watch the level of talent (and schemes) increase immediately.

this will not happen overnight. Period. Quit that line of thinking.

Neinas should have never been hired to begin with. Not all of it is his fault but a lot of it is. Ultimately he's the fall guy anyway if his unit keeps hurting the team, that's part of coaching.

Chuck's kid fields a unit that gift wraps points for an opponent, It is pretty obvious why he has a job.
