Women's Soccer vs Stony Brook (Buffs win 4-0)

The women's soccer team is back in action today when they face Stony Brook at 4pm MT today in their first match of the Omni Soccer Classic in Boulder. The Buffs (6-1) are coming off their first loss of the season against Denver and hope to rebound against the Stony Brook Seawolves (5-1-1) who's only loss was 1-0 to Yale two weeks ago. The match should be streaming and have live stats, but we'll see.

Wasted no time. Must have been pissed about missing so many chances to finish against DU and letting that game get away from them.
 
If anyone wants to watch, the video is pretty good but the sound is very low and there's no scoreboard.
 
Corner headed away by SB but picked up by the Buffs and another chance but goal kick SB
 
Soft shot on net by the Buffs. About 12 minutes in and almost the whole time the Buffs have been on the attack.

It was off of Stony Brook Rd across from one of the entrances. I only lived there for a year but I grew up in East Islip, which isn't that far away.

Life was simpler when I was there. The ONLY entrance was on Nicholl Road
 
Stony Brook with probably their first chance of the match, just trickles wide.
 
First half is over. Stony Brook showed some life in the final few minutes but Buffs will take a 2-0 lead into the 2nd half.
