Today the women's tennis team travels to the Air Force Academy to take on the Falcons at 3pm.
Air Force enters the match coming off of a 6-1 win over Louisiana-Lafayette yesterday in their spring opener. They finished last season with a 17-8 record, their most wins since the 98-99 season before losing to Wyoming in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Championship.
The Buffs will have their first team match of the season after competing against Long Beach St, New Mexico, and Nevada in the Long Beach Invitational. Last season, CU beat Air Force 4-2 in Boulder and finished with a 7-14 record and 0-10 in conference.
The Buffs will have their hands full this season as women's tennis is another sport that the Pac-12 excels at with 4 teams in the top 7 of the country.
