If you already have some team in mind, by all means, post it. I've got 3 in mind, haven't decided yet. They can be top 25 of course or out of it if you prefer.

Besides CU?

I going to interpret "dark horse" as "outside the current top 10."

LSU. I don't think Orgeron has the organizational chops for long term high level success, but he knows how to motivate and lead a team on game day and they've got a lot of talent in the bayou right now.

It's not going to happen, but if a team outside the current top 10 wins it all, that's where my money is.

Wisconsin.

Always good, and their schedule sets up near perfectly. See below. Early tests at BYU and at Nebraska are easily manageable. Then it's a bunch of garbage until getting Iowa (meh) and Michigan at home. No PSU, OSU, or MSU.

UTAH STATE, MADISON, WIS.
FLORIDA ATLANTIC, MADISON, WIS.
BYU, PROVO, UTAH
NORTHWESTERN, MADISON, WIS.
NEBRASKA, LINCOLN, NEB.
PURDUE, MADISON, WIS.
MARYLAND, MADISON, WIS.
ILLINOIS, CHAMPAIGN, ILL.
INDIANA, BLOOMINGTON, IND.
IOWA, MADISON, WIS.
MICHIGAN, MADISON, WIS.
MINNESOTA, NDIANAPOLIS, IN

Chances are they'll get OSU, PSU, MSU, or a UM rematch in the Big Ten title game.

Miami. The schedule sets up very well in their favor.

A couple of other good ones I see listed here are OK State and Wisconsin. Very favorable schedules for those 2 as well

Pretty much everyone I would have said has been covered so I'll give my hottake and say we don't get an ACC team in the CFP.
